Breast Cancer and Oral Health

October honors Breast Cancer Awareness Month and you might be surprised to learn about the connection between dental health and cancer risks.

A recent study from the Journal for Breast Cancer Research and Treatment found that women were over ten times more likely to develop breast cancer in their life if they had gum disease or practice poor oral health.

Since the gums are so sensitive, they are susceptible to bacteria infestations.

We take your health very seriously and encourage you to schedule regular dental checkups as this can have lasting effects on your overall health.

With our convenient location and easy to make appointments, don’t wait another day to improve your health.

We proudly support all of the survivors and families touched by breast cancer and honor this special month.
